Session 4 — Jasper’s Trial

Played: 2026-09-21

Downtime

• Waheed repaired a damaged scroll and learned Hold Portal.
• Rufus earned 2 XP from a spiritualism activity.
• Grumby, Mirwena and Gibbo caroused.
  • Grumby paid a local bard to sing only exaggerated songs about his adventures with the party.
  • Mirwena became a regular and knows everyone at the bar.
  • Gibbo entered a rat-killing contest with Annie. Both caught Rat Plague. Gibbo recovered overnight, but Annie fell very ill. Her companion Bram challenged Gibbo to a duel at noon the next day.

The trial

• The party found Matteo, a barrister.
• Grumby took the stand as a crowd favorite, and Matteo helped Jasper win his defense.
• Rameer the Lion then set a condition: Jasper must headline that evening’s pit fight at the Thraxis Arena.

Cliffhanger

• A duel at noon, and a pit fight at nightfall.
